Ok so the winds were delayed a day or two and it was single digits here too in the morning. They were howling all day yesterday. I clocked as high as 56mph on my weather computer and that is in the trees. I see on the news that they have been seen as high as 115mph in Jefferson county. I also see it is going to get way cold for this weekend and they are calling for another foot of snow.

Didn't get any pictures or even update this as it happened but the last few weeks are worth note. It has been back to back to back blizzards. Christmas week we received real close to four feet up here. Then the following week we got another two feet and should have had more but the storm moved down south of us. Then one week later again, today, we were supposed to get another foot along with 75 mile an hour winds. Luckily the winds were not nearly that bad and we only had eight inches or so of snow.

Too dark out for my cam yet this morning but it makes it only look like 3 or 4" anyway, whereas it is over a foot and still coming down hard.

I don't have a good place to measure but we have between 4' to 5' this morning - I had to move the webcam to point out a different window to get anything but white, the view is the picnic table on my porch, poking out the top is the umbrella. Oh Yea still snowing, pretty hard too. Click here for a storm of '03 page!

AM Pic's are a little misleading today, my railing only holds so much snow. At 6:00 AM this morning I had 19" and it's not slowing down any.
